transparent background bmp files ????

hi there

i was browsing the data_pc of cricket 2005 with bigGUI when i came across the files of vettori used in the background....i tried to replace it with inzamam's.....i set transparent background in psd file....but when i converted it into bmp...the background became white...i have tried meta file which is upported by fshEd as well but doesnot work...fshed doesnot support gif or png images....can u plz help me removing this white color from the backgound so that I can release my 1st patch for cricket 2005 i.e. pics of some greatest players in the game......plz :hpraise

Also tell me what do think of the pic i did ......the screenshot is attached

how did u get inzi on top it only comes up with vettori, gilchrist or ntini

i did it myself yaar...editing through the files...do u like it

You may need to save it as a 32-bit image, with an alpha channel. Try tga's or tiffs. I dont know a thing about editing for mods, this is just what I know as a mouse jockey

You have to the the file as a 32-bit bmp.
It supports alpha layers.I did the menu logos for cricket 2005 that way.
For creating alpha layers see this tutorial.The precedure is the same except u have the file as 32-bit bmp here.

thanx to all of you for liking it...i will release it asap....thanx bharat for the link...i will try it today....i am putting inzamam and rahul dravid in the game (replacing gilchrist and vettori).....another technical question....can anyone tell me how i can replace the "vettori" in the following image...i have tried editing the only englis hfile but nothing happened...

Bharat..another request from you....i am also replacing the initial background featuring the aussie pads with the theme "Jeet lo dil" series between pakistan and india....can u give me a link or pic of the LG commenrcial featuring inzi and ganguly in traditional fighting clothes
