So by the looks of it the contracts for a lot of T20 competitions are up for grabs this year and with the Big Bash up for grabs at the end of next year what do you think will happen?

I'm hoping Channel 9 will show ALL Australian games in FULL for the World T20 this year. It's a shame that Fox Sports got the Champions League, and whats up with the IPL? Is One going to show it this year?

Lastly when the Big Bash games are up for grabs I would like to see at least all games live into each city for their local team on One or 9.

I actually think Free to Air stations could benefit from offering those local games for free but also let people purchase a season package for all games, coz that would allow them to bid more, and I for one would much rather spend $30 for a month of great cricket then $70 a month. for ever just to watch the odd thing.

Personally, I prefer cricket on Fox Sports rather than Nine. Any cricket that I don't have to listen to Tony Greig or Mark Nicholas is a win for me. Also, I think you miss more on Nine as they rush to breaks more frequently.

I'm sure you'll see an AFL style deal for the Cricket rights.

Nine have first/last bid rights, so it's very unlikely it will go to Ten or Seven on FTA, but Foxtel will likely be playing an even bigger role than they already do.

the big bash should make its way onto the anti siphonong list i reckon.

Pay tv is good, but I cant justify the fee tbh. yeah unlimited cricket is good, but it does get a bit tedious and i can go weeks without watching anything so it makes the 'actual' cost even higher.
