Usain Bolt and World Athletics Champs

Surprised there isn't a thread about the fastest man in the world. Hes killing it, I knew he could break his 100m record but him breaking him 200m record by over 0.1s is an amazing feat especially one that took awhile to break Michael Johnson record. And this one unlike the swimming world records is actually the doing of the man rather than the suit.

Yeah superb effort by Bolt, interesting thing is, he broke his records in both the 100m and 200m by the same margins. Clearly the fastest man in the world.

Bolt in cricket, probably could clock some very fast balls if he can get his running style into a cricket run up. But yea its great to see him mention cricket on the world stage.

Haha, throw him a long ball, give him half a gap and he'll score. Would probably get 30 tries a season Or you could play him at fullback and throw him a short cut-back ball right through the middle.

Yea hes awesome, I've never really got into athletics even the 100m and 200m due to no Aussies but Bolt has brought me back. Always good to watch especially the ease he blitzes not only the field but world records.

Thats why I love the guy, its just awesome to watch a guy that can smash world records and still have more in him. And his post run comments are always a good read, in particular the one where he said he wouldn't get close to his 200m WR and the fact he wasn't in the right shape for it but then he comes out and smashes it!

Unfortunately there's more to bowling fast than just sprinting in....

Bolt is unbelieveable. Just the way he is dominating some fantastic athletes around him, he just leaves them standing in the middle part of a race. To think he can still improve further is just scary. I could beat him though tbh.
