That's probably the best way to do it, otherwise people post pics in both threads.

However there is a problem. The first post of the merged thread will be the 'earliest post' from the two threads merged, hence A_Whitey's great work would be put to waste since it won't be the first post. (he won't be able to edit someone else's post)
