Bad news. I'm not quite keen on Strauss captain if Flintoff isn't available although he should be

I don't know why Trescothick isn't captian in place of Flintoff?

No! This is devastating news for England! I don't rate either Strauss or Flintoff as captains. On top of that, when Flintoff captained England against Sri Lanka, his batting was poor, and apart from the odd good spell, so was his bowling.

He was injured through most of the tour.
He batted and bowled and captianed well in India but Micheal Vaughan is posssibly the best captian in the world and out though Ricky Ponting in the ashes which was one of Englands keys to victory in the ashes.
