I know its too late to post this but still having made this i didn't want to keep it with me....Hence i posted the new logo below...i'd be glad if this logo would be taken into consideration hereafter

fantastic! perfectly following the general rules of logo making.
just needs a little tidying up and its good to go.

will think of some tweaks to improve it.

jkartik, I think you must release Alpha versions and beta versions with LC logo and by that time allow every body to try their best for another logo, if you got one which will be perfect then replace it otherwise continue with LC one.

I said this because in testing versions logo doesn't matter too much and it will also give all of us more time to try and try and to get best out of us.

I would prefer to shrenik's new logo if this is under consideration!

Yeah, because you are in no hurry and in this way the logo competition will remain as a fun and you will get the best from this fun.

actually the middle spiral touch isn't look good instead you can try these two ideas,
1. Try to give it a bowl touch(not too much details just two moderated size arcs).
2. Try to give a stadium glossy shadow touch.

Some minor tweaks as suggested and here is the V2 of the logo

^This one is brilliant some effects can be added on the outer edges though (just some shading effects nothing more and it will be a winner)

shrenik....along the inner border....can ya add some stadium shadows with reduced opacity so that it'll feel like the turf inside the stad kind of a thing.
you get what i mean ?

another minor change...the spiral shape doesnt really gel well with the logo...stands out like a pimple on a beautiful face.
can you make some crickety feeling shape(s) to be more in sync ?

I like shrenik's new one, except the idea of having stumps and bails on it. To me, 'The Art of Cricket' suggests that it should highlight the beautiful aspects of the game (why I chose the batsman silhouette I did), and stumps don't conjure up that image for me.

The rest of the logo is nice and elegant - but the stumps just aren't.
