W.I player appeared for England fielding

:o This has happened before.
I'm currently playing a 5 match series England v W.Indies.
[First Test England won at Lords]

In the second Test at Chester Le Street ,Edwards of West Indies suddenly appeared in the field for England .. didn't notice until Richie Benaud mentioned his name when fielding near the boundary :tired

Restarted the test as luckily I'd saved the game after Lords and things were back to normal [the correct 11 England players fielding as they should be] :cap: There was an added bonus as Anderson took 2 wickets in the first over :Party

Has this happened to anyone before?

Yes, have everything up to date but very strange how that happens.
A blessing in disguise though...look at these figures after restarting the test :one [playing on Normal level, damp pitch]

We all know about the fielder on the pitch but has anyone else seen him hit by a delivery yet as happened in my Eng/WI Test today?

No, he was actually forced to move out the way when it hit him.
