Manish Bhasin: Here I have the winning captain, Michael Powell, a good victory in the end:

Michael Powell: Yes, we were determined to go that extra mile, degree of effort to win, after the other night. We weren't entirely comfortable, but I felt we alyways had a slight edge in the game, Jona bowled well us as did most of bowlers, and Crofters got us to an amazing start, and we batted well in the main, a couple of silly dismissals, but all in all, a good performance, but there is still room for improvement.

Manish Bhasin: As for you, another good performance, you look in good touch:

Michael Powell: Yes, I'm very happy with my performance, I feel in great touch. But the main importance was the team, so if my performance was to help that, then at the end of the day, whether I get 5 or 105, doesn't matter as much as the team cause.

Manish Bhasin: Now I have the losing captain, Habibul Bashar, this time defeat for you, what difference do you think there was between both matches?

Habibul Bahsar: Um...not a lot really, I think we were far too slow in mid innings, but that was a problem in the game, to be honest, and one big factor was that we let them get off to too big a start, althought Robert Croft played a very good knock

manishbhasintranssmallid5.jpg
Manish Bhasin: But still positives to take from the performance?

Habibul Bashar: Yes, Hannan Sarkar, put in an amazing perfromance, and we never let them get away from us completely. But there is a lot to improve as well, and this is something we need to look into, and we were be working very hard to make sure we can seal the series at Fatullah

Post Match Interview : MOTM: Robert Croft

manishbhasintranssmallid5.jpg
Manish Bhasin: Here I have the Man of the Match with me now, Robert Croft, still doing the job at 36?

Robert Croft: (laughs) Yes, urm...I am very lucky to be given a second opportunity at international cricket at this let's say...late stage in my career. Probably not many more years left in me, but it was good to help out the boys today. I am very surprised to get this award, after the greater performances of Sarkar, and Powelly, and really the other, younger boys in the dressing room, but I am happy with champagne for a fun slog!

manishbhasintranssmallid5.jpg
Manish Bhasin: Yes, was there a specific plan when you came in to open the batting?

Robert Croft: In a way, I suppose there was. Really the role given to me by the skipper was to come in and just attack the open the bowlers at start, get us off to a good start. Some days it works, others it doesn't, today it did.
