I am starting a new up to date rosters with up tp date line ups and player squads

heres the problem

I was creating the new sri lankians players that ain't in the game.

for example

Rangana Herath

Now obviously there is no sound of Richie saying Hearth in the sound files..

2 things I can think of...

Try to find a player that doesn't play anymore retired and replace that with somehow finding a recording of Richie saying Herth.

or other question is there away to create this player without assigning a sound at all?

or just basically try to find a sound with Richie saying the "the Batsman" or "the Bowler"

but then theres the problem with what do I replace it with

or is there a way of just saying stuff it I don't want to assign a sound name for this player??

assigning no sound is not possible i am afraid but there's a sound called "the player"...put it in...

ok cool good thinking I can replace one of the reitred players ogg file with the ogg file called the player

ive just goto find which bloody ogg file it is

when this is all doen Ill release my full upto date rosters for all international State teams with accurite line ups

I just usually select a sound file that sounds most like it. Doesn't have to perfect, half the time he gets the Sri Lankan names wrong anyway.

And isn't the number of each .ogg file listed in the player editor above the name of the player's commentary?

yeah it is but i think the ogg file "The Player" isn't in that list

yeah Richie always says Path----on rather then part---on

and i think every single commentator changes Mutalithalins name (SP)

worked out a way you can assign no sound.

just record a blank wav file then assign that.

I think "The Player" isn't on crick 2004 it was on 2002

I might have over looked it though

there's a sound called "player" in c2k4 for certain...i have heard it sometimes...

but it may be hard to search
