sarwan then came in n went out. not much time spent at the crease by him. tried to place a short of a length ball towards third man but failed and ended up bien caught in the slips.

its a sad story looking at this with masrafe mortaza goin 6 an over n tareq aziz at 5.
enamul haque had really troubled the batsmen with consistent line and length bowling out side the off stump with some help from the track for spin. 8 overs 7 maidens 4 runs. in my mind excellent figures.
partner ship lunch
well the only thing and the best thing there is lara and hinds partner ship. a stage with boundaries flowing and a stage with consistent pressure by spinner enamul haque.

laras fifty came quickly after lunch. good innings so far.

lara just could not play enamul haque on this track. he went for a back foot cover drive but dragged it onto his stumps with an inside edge. an incredible innings comes to an end.
a standing ovation for lara as he goes for 60.
a bowling change occurs after a long time as chanderpaul comes in.
chanderpaul drives a rare boundary as bangladesh bowlers on top. things have really quitened after laras dismissal.
Tea Time
its tea time as bangladesh bowlers leave the field proudly. bowlers bowling at 6 per over have now stooped to 3 per over and of course the star for bangladesh enamul haque.
postives for west indies too in that session as hinds and chanderpaul settle in playing slowly and reduce further disaster.
Statz at Tea
hinds 64 played quite slowly only getting 12 runs in this whole session and chanderpaul at 26 both playing slowly and well settled. the fielding by bangladesh has also been excellent hence giving away less runs and forcing batsmen to play slowly.

this partnership between hinds and chanderpaul has to be a life saver for west indies.
just 4 bowlers used by bangladesh and they have all bounced back since lunch. 2 wickets for masrafe mortaza who picked up both sarwan and gayle. the prize wicket of brian lara goes to enamul haque who has bowled superbly.all bowlers getting their act togeather and now the runrate is back to normal for the bowlers and west indies.
