i'm just unable to get a hang of the timing with the action cam view on normal/hard modes.

i do fine with broadcast view on easy/normal/hard modes.

with action cam & easy mode also i do well but somehow action cam-normal/hard is a total no go for me. i barely make 100 or so runs total and am all out. i am either too early or too late. :facepalm

the difference in the accuracy of timing between easy & normal modes to me seems large but the leap between normal & hard seems miniscule. is this true with everyone's experience?

is this some sort of glitch in my game as no one here seems to have any trouble racking up good scores. i've tried waiting for the ball to get delivered and i've tried playing a little before that and a little after that but i rarely get a good/perfect timing. any tips you guys have or it'll be sticking to broadcast view for me, which'll suck :(

I suppose just pracitce, with Action cam, I was first bowled out for 12, then 100 odd then 205 and now Im currently 100/3 in the middle of day 1 in my new game.

what do you look for when triggering the x or o button while batting to get the best timing - do you wait for the bowler to release the ball or is it little before/after that ?

For fast bowlers press the button as soon or just after the bowler releases the ball. If you are still too early in the shot try to play the shot an instant late next time and you should be able to get the hang of timing soon.

Between it's tougher to get the timing right for a new batsman. Once the batsman's confidence increases (bold or even confident) you should find timing the shots easier.

But watch out for the slower ball.

Hmm, im not sure I agree with this hard and fast rule of "press the button as soon as or after the bowler releases the ball"

The timing windows differ according to situation, whether the batsman is set or not, how long he has been there, has he just been hit by a delivery, is he a tail ender etc.

By simply watching the delivery you will find that is the best way to time the ball. Also remember to leave anything that might be going over the stumps and try to play the appropriate shot for the situation. It makes the timing easier if you pick the correct shot selection.

thanks guys.. i guess i need to keep a closer look at the bowlers hand (which makes this game a good cricket sim) :)
