What is the most difficult aspect of Cricket ?

It's also quite an issue that since my action gets straighter, it is instantly noticeable. So it has to be absolutely accurate and with a well disguised grip.

Still, I always have my topspinner to fall back on. And an arm ball :p

Definitely batting but I guess you would expect that from a number 11. Whatever I do, my hand-eye coordination isn't good enough but bowling feels so much easier. I have walked into matches and bowled balls I have never tried in the nets. It is very personal because there are people who batting comes naturally and people who bowling comes naturally.

Leg-spin. I look quite the prat attempting it.

Batting for me. Is there some way to improve my hand-eye coordination? :p

Batting was difficult some years ago. When there were no helmets and no beamer rule in cricket. When the batsmen had to play those big bouncers of Dennis Lilie, Malcolm Marshall, Fred Trueman, Fred Spofforth etc etc. But modern day cricket is a much channged game. Now, most rules are batsmen-fiendly. Powerplays and everything. I find bowling the most difficult now, especially bowling in the slog-overs and in flat pitches like that in Christchurch. Poor Southee. :( Now there are arm guards, toe guards, leg guards, shoulder guards, hair guards, lip guards.....so many guards. But what about the bowlers? Nothing.

What?! Shane Warne has/had a brilliant googly.

And for the best part of his career he went around it.

So quite fitting really. I am the next Shane Warne, so it's only right I have a poor googly  I've got a Legbreak, a Topspinner, a second grip legbreak, a skidder (although I have seen no evidence that it actually skids...) and an armball, so I'm set :p
