which company is better - Codemasters or EA Company

I'm not quite sure where post this so I decided to post this in general chat forum considering this is more to do with being general then being specifically.

Anyway treat me as if Im am new to world of simulated cricket game since i only own one cricket game which the lastest EA Cricket 2007 game and I don't have any other simulated cricket games or previous EA cricket version.


So I want to ask which company is better at making cricket game? Codemasters or EA Company?

I like EA better. Even though some picky gamers may think they suck, i've been with them since 2002 and i love every second of it. I think its quite fun.
Only thing i don't like is richies commentary.

I agree with you especially about richies commentary. All the other commentators beside richies is better. Or the way they scripted or programmed the commentary calls from Richie is quite dull at times. Has Richies commentatary calls always been like this in all EA cricket games?

I like EA. Dont know why but its a general feeling. After all they have surprised us with lots of things, be them good or bad

I think EA have far better programmers than Codies, but no community interest. This is vice-versa for Codies. This is probably why they took in our ideas but still failed to release a good cricket game.

EA for me as well...cody have really cartoony graphics and don't have many features that EA have...

I think from both a gaming and a business point of view EA are better. With a turnover of 2.651 bn dollars Codemasters are nothing like that.

I would say EA because they make good sports games like FIFA and all that.

As a whole, EA Sports make more games that I enjoy playing than Codemasters do. I do like how Codemasters are based in the UK though and that they have fairly good customer support.

I am not sure, to me, EA has more potential and is a more complete game and on the other hand, BLIC is well fun.

They are sort of on equal footing but I'd still vote EA.

EA is a much bigger company with lots more licenses (and money) so its obviously EA but I think Codies has made some good releases.

EA do make some good games like BF2 and quite enjoyed Rugby 2006. Haven't played many codemasters games so EA it is.
