Which way does the ball swing/spin

Unlike in Cricket 2002 u can see the bowling indicator. My problem is about the tiny dot on the ball, at the bottom left of the screen. In which way will the ball seam/swing/spin depending on the position of that dot?

Secondly how DO you get the ball to swing for a pace bowler?

I don't think you can make the ball swing with a pace bowler, but you can definately make the ball move off the pitch with a pace bowler, even when you use a pace bowler to make the ball move off the pitch the placement of that pointer on the ball doesn't always move in the direction you want, but for swing/spin bowlers and using off cutter/leg cutter with pace bowlers the placement of pointer does influence which way its going to swing/spin/cut. Say you want to bowl a leg cutter to a right handed batsmen just press the leg cutter button and also move the pointer to the left, same goes for a leg break, press leg break button and move the pointer to the left, with swinging the ball with medium bowler pressing the outswing button and move the ball to the left.
