What do you focus on when buying youths/normal players? Last years average or Career average and what are good averages for youths. I never seem to have any luck with them. I have only ever had 2 awesome youths.

I tend to foucus on batting and bowling averages,but its always fun getting a not so flash player and trying to improve him.

I tend to look on their salary .. the higher the better and their last season second team averages and form (thats for youth players)
