Wicketkeepers

Can anybody who's changed their wicketkeeper to someone not recognised by the game as a keeper noticed any major issues with their catching behind the stumps? Is it a separate stat in their make up?

I'd possibly be tempted to use South Africa more if I could have De Villiers as keeper rather than Boucher for example. Boucher isn't the best batsmen on their side and at face value De Villers has a higher fielding rating.
