Windows Installer Problems

Hi, I work in the Cricket 07 and I wanted to install photoshop on my computer, BUT whenever I try to install it, it states that there's something wrong with 'Windows Installer.' I was wondering if anyone can help me with this dilema.(I use Windows Vista Ultimate) Reps for anyone who can solve this!

have you tried restarting and doing it again? as silly as it sounds i used to have the same problem whenever i tried to install something unless i just did a restart, back on my old XP system

Yep, trying it everyday for a week now. Doesnt work.

Try running the Setup.exe or whatever file on your installation disk in compatibility mode. Try running it in XP mode.

I want to ideally fix it on vista because it's such an effort to uninstall and then reinstall it.

That's what I need but you need windows installer to install something that repairs windows installer. So, yeah, no luck so far.

Nope sorry, I'm missing a file called 'dllcache' apart from that I think it might work.

I just checked and I don't have that file with vista either. Perhaps just skip that.

Adobe CS3 can be downloaded from Adobes site. If you have official keys and activation code then you should download it again.

Otherwise paste the error code in Google. That will solve it.
