Shouldn't this be in the Humour & Jokes forum;):p:D? Imagine it. Culli comes online and says "omg is that you!". You say "no" or "yes" but he says it over and over again. And then you tell him (if your answer is yes), "YES! YES, GOD DAMNIT! IT'S ME! GET OVER IT ALREADY!"

Why don't you re-install Windows Messenger? See if it works.

It's fine now anyway, I just deleted something off my desktop and it's working fine :D

Thanks for your enthusiasum though Shravi :p

Absolutley you need to take action. As I said before these things are never defeated by just deleting something from your desktop. Its not just your problem as if you dont do something about it you will not only cause damage to your own system but you will spread it to others who wont be happy.

You could try downloading and running the Avert Stinger from McAfee (its free)

http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

But this shows firstly, If you get an instant message from someone and the first thing is a link, never click it. Always confirm with the sender he has sent you the link. Secondly, get a Anti-virus program and keep it uptodate. There are Free ones available if you dont want to pay. AVG free edition is pretty good.

Also, use Firefox or another secure browser. I will admit I did click on the link out of curiosity, and Firefox asked me if I wanted to download a "Shortcut to MSDOS program". I thought "Uh oh" and closed it.
