Hello friends, this is my first post in this forum. I wanted to get your opinion in the following matter. India were awarded the the rights to host the the world cup in '11 inspite of Australia being hot favourites. Why do you think ICC took this move? Australia definately has far better infrastructure than India. I think only because the subcontinent generates more money which makes the ICC biased towards it. It would have been great to see the world cup in Australia after nearly 24 yrs. But we now have to cope with another world cup in the subcontinent. All the revenue generated from cricket in India goes to the BCCI's pocket and they hardly spend anything on development of facilities. Lets see what the so called richest cricket board in the world has in store for us.
