Heres my world cup all star team, what does everyone think?

Adam Gilchrist (wk) (Australia)
Excellent batting, great wicketkeeping and sportsmanship

John Davison (Canada)
Batting average nearly 40, bowling average 18, fastest century

Sachin Tendulkar (India)
Could any all-star team be without him?

Ricky Ponting ? (Australia)
Just for that innings in the final

Maurice Odumbe (Kenya)
Excellent off spiners, decent batsman

Andy Flintoff (England)
Best economy rate in the world cup and can be an explosive batsman

Daan van Bunge (Holland)
A strange choice I know, of the best strike rates of a bowler in the world cup and batted brilliantly against India

Andy Bichel (Australia)
Not bad for a reserve bowler

Chaminda Vaas (Sri Lanka)
Most wickets and that hat-trick against Bangladesh

Brett Lee (Australia)
Speed and accuracy, the bowler Shoaib Akhtar wants to be :D

Glenn McGrath (Australia)
As mean as ever

Cool man. But how the happy thoughts could u miss out on Akram, Saurav, Dravid, Murli etc. Make a team of 20 and then post ur team on vineet's site. ;)

Saurav Ganguly was missed out cos although he had a really good average, when you break it down he averaged less than 20 against test playing countries and around 300 against non-test playing countries. And I'm a Lancashire fan and he was a right arsehole when he played for us in 2000. ;)

Dravid cos Gilchrsit is a better wicket keeper and better batsman, Murali cos I wanted spinners who could bat. Akram is a notable omission, could probably bring him in for McGrath, to stengthen the batting line-up
