Mate, you're wasting your time with this, I'm sure even Liverpool fans would have no interest in buying the song, purely because it'll never reach number one.

I've seen this sort of attempt before and whatever song never gets close to the top ten, let alone being top of the charts.

Good luck to you I suppose.

It was in the top 30 or something last time someone reported its movement, but if you don't think marking your respects for 96 dead is a waste of time then maybe that says more about you than the efforts of others. And you'd be surprised how many fans will buy it, probably a lesser percentage of internet fans but I could give you paragraphs on why they're not really fans.

It's sad you've thanked the muppet above you :noway

You don't want to buy it/get involved, suit yourself, no need to make such comments. If that's your kid in that pic then show a bit of EMPATHY as to how you'd feel if she died in a tragedy/tragic manner

That really hasn't anything to do it, does it,

Hillsborough disaster was 23 years ago, not last week, as tragic as it was, after 23 years surely its time to move on,

People die, that's harsh but the reality we face, we don't need to keep hearing that song just to keep milking a bad situation.

the disaster may have been 23 years ago but the tragedy of the victims and other fans being wrongly blamed for it since was not.

As a football fan a member of the britsh public i would expect you to understand the importance of it all. It has been widely described as one of the biggest cover ups in british history.

Regardless of you thinking the sympathy has been overplayed it's clearly a matter of public interest that a police force pins the blame of the deaths of people it has failed to protect on those people and their peers.

I find the attitude of "it happened 23 years ago, get over it" to be a little off.

Although i don't really see the point in this, it'd be much more productive to donate to one of the groups/charities associated (but even then there will surely be large compensation at some point)

It's good that justice has been done now - perhaps the families of the victims can get some closure now. I won't be buying any song though - just another cynical way to make money in my opinion.

As a side note, I studied two cases on this a couple of weeks ago

That wasn't justice. That was just the truth. Justice has yet to be done.

This is part of the problem when I say people milking a situation,

No amount of apologies or compensation can take the place of loved ones loss, so where do you draw the line.

It's been proven the fans were not to blame, now let it go, there are to many people in Liverpool who didn't lose anyone that day who have jumped on the bandwagon and just wanna stir it up

So, supporting your neighbours is jumping on the bandwagon and stirring trouble up?:rolleyes
