Requirement of 3000 runs after deduction of statistics against Bangladesh & Zimbabwe and other non Test playing nations.

If a player has scored over 2000 more runs then someone with an average of within' 5 runs, then he is ranked higher.
If a player has scored over 4000 more runs then someone with an average of within' 10 runs, then he is ranked higher.
