Finally this nonsense is sorting out. Hopefully they will play soon for Pakistan. Also PCB needs to work out the matter between Imran Nazir and Naved-ul-Hasan. Actually all the rest of ICL players.

Yousuf and Razzaq set for international return

The ICL has accepted the resignations of Mohammad Yousuf and Abdul Razzaq, paving the way for their return to official cricket, possibly as early as Pakistan's tour of Sri Lanka which starts in late June.

Cricinfo - Yousuf and Razzaq set for international return

Your Twenty20 World cup selection is over. Unless someone is injured, Razzaq cant come in (I guess!). And also, I think it says "for the SL tour", so the T20 world cup is not in that horizon

Good, India-Pakistan clashes aren't the same without Razzaq in the mix.

Because they were ignored for the World Cup Twenty20 2007. As a response they chose the ICL. Razzaq went first and after a while so did Yousuf. I think Yousuf did it, because he wasn't selected for the IPL and chose to go to the ICL.

But that's now in the past.

Razzaq is a spent force. His strength used to be his bowling. I remember watching him bowl consistently over 140 KPH in 1999-2000 series in India. In that series Razzaq knocked sachin over thrice. Two of these dismissal were clean bowled. The reason was his extra pace that also allowed a lot of reverse swing. At that time Razzaq was also number one ODI Bowler in ICC ranking. But after that series Razzaq lost the edge in his bowling. His pace dropped considerably and he dropped a lame attitude towards bowling. His batting has also been worked out by most team. Short bowling into his chest can unsettle him and he has a pull short that hardly comes off. In short Razzaq was in the team when we lost many champion trophies and three world cups. With his degrading abilities razzaq can add little to our team.

Fully agree with Samiullah Khan.Razzaq's inclusion would further weaken our already weak side.

In the current domestic Twenty20 Cup Razzaq was the highest wickettaker. All the rest of the bowlers participated as well. Although it was only Twenty20 it shows he can still take wickets. Also he hit a century in the recent Twenty20 Cup. That doesn't happen too often.

How old is Razzaq, he must be getting on now wouldn't he. It's good for Pakistan that they have these two guys back, but I wouldn't expect to much from Razzaq.

Okay I just checked his Cricinfo page and he is only 29. Man he has been around for ages it seems.

It will be great that razzak and yousuf will come back in team then pakistan will be quiet a nice team but what about others nazir farhat mahmood naved

if all the icl players come back to pakistan pakistan will at least make the second spot
in the icc ranking such a great team
