I have a couple of simultaneous career's going on at the minute; both are 16 y/o for Yorkshire, one's a batting-all rounder batting at number 4 with off-spin bowling (Pie-chucker, anyone?) currently my batting average on this particular career is shocking I very rarely get anything higher than 25 before edging to slips chasing the wide ball from left-handed bowlers, ala Lyth, bowling on the other hand is amazing and I've had a couple of 4 fers in my opening season. Last 4 day game I had ended up with match figures of 6 - 37 with the ball turning brilliantly.
In stark contrast to that my Out-swinging bowling all rounder has been sensational with the bat, I've scored 40-50 in the past 2 first class matches - oddly enough I aren't changing my technique and I feel it may be more of a psychological issue than a batting one - however I have only ever taken 3 wickets in 8 matches and that has caused me some concern. I'm more interested in seeing how each of these careers progress more than anything else - Could a batting all rounded be utilised more as a bowler and have excellent bowling figures or could my Bowling all rounder emulate Flintoff/Botham and be fiery with both bat or ball
