For the first time ever scored 2 centuries in a match - 4th first class match of my opening bats career (got a hundred on debut, nothing much since).

Got 125 in the first innings and 220 in the second. Annoyingly, both innings were ended by me running myself out!!

Didn't even get me MOTM! One of my teammates got 142 & 88* plus 4 wkts first innings and a couple in the second.

Still, 4 matches in I've got 533 runs at 67 with 3 hundreds.

My form has dropped splendidly after a superb start to test career. Was averaging 80 after 43 innings with 10 centuries and more than twice as much 50s to my name but last 15 innings didn't manage a single 100, got out in nervous 80s/90s several times in this period.

That doesn't sound like drop in form,:noway
You seems to be suffering from tendefect or williamsyndrome, getting out in 90s :D

I have a couple of simultaneous career's going on at the minute; both are 16 y/o for Yorkshire, one's a batting-all rounder batting at number 4 with off-spin bowling (Pie-chucker, anyone?) currently my batting average on this particular career is shocking I very rarely get anything higher than 25 before edging to slips chasing the wide ball from left-handed bowlers, ala Lyth, bowling on the other hand is amazing and I've had a couple of 4 fers in my opening season. Last 4 day game I had ended up with match figures of 6 - 37 with the ball turning brilliantly.

In stark contrast to that my Out-swinging bowling all rounder has been sensational with the bat, I've scored 40-50 in the past 2 first class matches - oddly enough I aren't changing my technique and I feel it may be more of a psychological issue than a batting one - however I have only ever taken 3 wickets in 8 matches and that has caused me some concern. I'm more interested in seeing how each of these careers progress more than anything else - Could a batting all rounded be utilised more as a bowler and have excellent bowling figures or could my Bowling all rounder emulate Flintoff/Botham and be fiery with both bat or ball

Have been playing a Gilbert Jessop style career - basically defending on the stumps and leathering everything else. Opening the batting in first class only for Gloucestershire.

Interestingly getting far better results with this approach than playing properly.

Played 12 matches, scored over 1220 runs at 50+ with 5 50s and 4 100s with top score of 220.

Blasted this quick century against Pakistan after bowling them out for a paltry 184. I got a chance to bat at the fall of the 2nd wicket for 72 runs. Took some risks but there was not much to lose, having already grabbed the ODI series win in the bag.
