Football Transfers Thread

I think the issue is much more than just not him playing a reserve game, because that's just plain silly for a top level coach to be unforgiving about, so I imagine there must've been a more serious standoff, maybe one that built on that one.

Valdes sitting in the stands is a big problem however, that would definitely put potential signings off who would feel from the outside 1 bad move and you're tweaked, it's also not good for the players already in the side who might get the idea they're walking on egg shells as well.

Well, apparently, LvG and Valdes fell out at Barca. LvG wanted him gone. President didn't. LvG was eventually booted out.

So it meant only one thing.

Payback time.

He's ours for now.
They can still get him next summer but they'll have to cough up.
Hopefully he will stay just love him!

^ Yup he is most likely to end up at PSG next summer.

Please don't sign Vardy, he won't do as well this season especially with our tactic...

Arsenal remain confident over Jamie Vardy transfer as Leicester prepare counter contract offer - Mirror Online
^Will he be a one season wonder or will he be a hit at Arsenal ?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic to announce Manchester United deal this week: "It will be this summer's big bomb" - Mirror Online
^ I am not too excited in regarding this. Ibra has real past his prime & he was playing in an un competitive French league. IMO Ibra transfer is over hyped by media.
Zlatan is far from overhyped.
I hope Vardy flops massively. I hate Arsenal.

He is 34 & leaving PSG as free agent. Media is hyping this news as if we are going to sign Aubameyang from BVB.
Btw since you are a Juve fan this Dani Alves admits he is leaving Barcelona as he had become "too comfortable" - Mirror Online transfer will be a boost to your team.
But what about your view on the expected departures of Morata & Pogba from Juve ?
Morata has played second fiddle to Dybala this season. I hope he stays, because he can become a great player here, but if he leaves, I certainly won't be crying.
Dani Alves is a good signing, IMO. He suits well to the 3-5-2, where he'll replace Lichtsteiner.
Zlatan is still a deadly goalscorer and a world class striker, perhaps the best after Suarez. He scored 28 goals in the Serie A in the last season he played there, which says it all, considering only Toni, Higuain and another very old player have breached the 30-goal margin in Italy.

That was 5 years ago. Since then he was playing in less competitive ligue 1, were PSG dominates every game. I am not saying he will be bad at highest level in PL. He will be good, but not great.
The same hype was given by media when Schweinsteiger joined last summer, but he had a poor & injury hit season. Now he is almost going to be sold.
