Of all days, Pant decides to play an unnatural innings that does not fit his reputation one bit. He should've gone out aggressive and even if he got out, he might have added 20-25 runs to the innings, which would have helped India move ahead. But he decides to play a 29 ball duck, equalling India's record, and gets out to a spinner.

The way things are going, we might not even get a lead here. Absolutely terrible if that happens. As Adi said, its beginning to look like the test was lost yesterday when we yet again gave Sam Curran that many runs.
