I started off my career over the weekend after a long long gap, thanks to the delay in Patch 4.. But, boy, they do a great job in improving the quality of the game. Started my career as a top order specialist batsman. In my first season, I was asked to bat at 2nd down. Since, my ability is not...
Yes, my scoring rate used to come down drastically when spinners were introduced into the attack as I couldn't rotate the strike or hit boundaries as there will not be enough pace on the ball to reach the fence. All this when playing from the crease, but once I started stepping out things...
I felt playing spin on any difficulty above Easy was difficult until yesterday. That perception changed entirely after I started chipping down the track for every delivery. I am creaming them for sixes down the track if they flight the ball or bowl full. If they bowl length or at a quicker pace...
Great tutorials mate @grkrama . One thing I ve noted with my failure to connect the glances is my inability to constantly move the LS precisely to where I wanted. Everytime I missed the glance, look down to see my LS position, its atcually at 11:30 to 12 but what i thought was at 12:30 or 1:00...
I don't know what's your point with the post but Codemasters didn't have a clue how cricket as a sport is played period. They wouldn't have made a half decent game even if they kept on trying all these years.
Irony that you have to mention Konami and PES 2017 tagging my post. I am a PES fanboy...
The only problem with the developers of the game I see, is to start giving a complete game with the first iteration itself. What if they just create a game with the same mechanics but no depth in career, no bars, no academy etc etc and release DBC 15, DBC 16, DBC 17 with some depth added along...
I didn't play DBC 14 at all but love this game. As Karol pointed out, if you like to enjoy a cricket game with serious depth and longevity, its definitely worth the investment. But if you want to bang bang bye bye., I am not sure how easy is this game with the batting difficulty set to easiest.
You seem to be doing really really good for a player starting his career at 18 years. :clap I envy you as I am dying to get my player his 1st 50 and you are smashing 100's at ease. I have started my career as an opening batsman and almost completed my first season. My average sits at lowly 12...
Obviously, when your partner defends or deals in boundaries. I rest my case there.. Time to leave office, go back home and play DBC!! Good luck with the game buddy..
I am not referring to improving your player's overall stamina improvement and the original question in the thread is not about it too. The player's stamina improves with respect to that particular innings when you be a not striker and watch your partner face some deliveries.. Hope I am clear...
Instead of simming to your batsman facing the ball, be at the non striker end and play some overs just like in real life. This would increase the stamina to an extent too.
Thanks for that. Sorry, my post went into the wrong thread and ..
The best post I have seen about DBC 17. I did give 2 hours of rigorous training yesterday after getting out too cheap frequently and I was amazed at how good the game actually is. I just used my LS Up or Down to play back-foot...
