I also don't understand the decision to just give India runs. I don't think I've ever bowled with a field this defensive even in T20s; there are close catchers of course, but beyond that there's absolutely zero pressure on them.

According to Tom Moody on Cricinfo, Renshaw was picked because he bowls part-time medium. They didn't need Head's part-time offies since they already had 2 offies in the lineup. They thought Renshaw would be closer to Green's bowling.
