Bitters Captain Pleased with Performances

In a press conference earlier today, Melbourne Bitters captain, rickyp, spoke out about the teams recent success in the longer form of the game. Rickyp said, "We have certainly been the top team in the 4 day game especially when in tight situations. We've had some very strong performances by the senior members of our team including Duffarama, Rabbitoh Rob, Squiz and myself. All of whom are currently occupying a top 5 spot in the first class rankings. If we keep up the current form we will be favourites to take out the premiership."
Rickyp also had a word about the bitters dissapointing one day form saying, "We can surely do better than what we have put forward in recent matches. We really chocked the last match against the warriors, especially in the batting performance but its something that we are going to need to work on and im sure we can fix it up before a finals berth is not too late."
