Champions League Twenty20 2011

Yes Razzaq is wasted at lower down the order. He can easily do us a TM Dilshan in LOIs, it will improve his batting avg either.

Steve smith isn't good enough for the nsw team ATM. Problem with him is he was always a far better batter than bowler. He was never gonna be anything more than an ok domestic spinner. But they've tried to develop his bowling to the detriment of his batting wouldve had far more value

it looks like MI got too many runs in this wicket. NSW 28/5 now

watching the red carpet intro for the first time. Its is funny..hahha:lol

we don't have many domestic players as we don't steal players from south africa, ireland like england does.

Now I don't know much about this.

NSW never do it easy. It's always scrappy. Great partnership between Smith and Rohrer. Still in it! Gonna have to beat Chennai though which will be a job and a half. Come on you Blues!

That defeat serves CSK right for stealing Dwayne Bravo from T&T. Hoping NSW give a similar treatment to them for stealing Doug Bollinger.

They did not "steal" Bravo. There's a slight thing with West Indies cricket which has come to light in this Champions League (and the past two, actually). But perhaps I should save that for a proper article/discussion.

Just played a match winning knock :p Thank God for that too, the impressive bowling display did not deserve to be wasted. The lineup still needs Hughes in it to add a bit more consistency but getting him in there is now tricky with the 3 likely guys to be dropped having done something.

Bravo and his home board have mind of the size of peanuts? Or do they even have that at all? We don't want you as much you (i.e. likes of Bravo, Bollinger, etc) want us.

By the way, Chennai is almost OUT!!!! They have the worst run rate of all teams with whom they will fight (they cant fight MI coz MI have 5 pts and the max Chennai can get is 4). Chennai has to beat NSW very convincingly (which is so hard since NSW is a very good side) and hope T&T beat Cape Cobras, but not by a very big margin. One consolation is Chennai plays the last match of Group A. That defeat to Malinga's Mumbai is most likely going to hurt Chennai big time. Anyways, not too disappointed because we have already won a Champions League before.

Bad day at the office. Buttler looking every bit a man who hasn't batted properly for a few weeks. Win the last game and we go through though I believe, so we have a chance, which is all that we would have wanted at the start of this group stage.
