matt, can we have inter team trades through the mid season break?
I think he made it clear that we can.
Two important doubts though.

1.Is it up to the individual players or the captains/managers?

2.If it's the latter, will you allow uneven trades like involving say a player with no bonus points and another carrying a few bonus points (vCash will obviously be involved as well)?

Teams are free to make their own arrangements. A player you have signed needs to get permission from the manager to be released.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I'd like to announce how the mid season transfer process will work.

First off, there will be initial delistings and trades between sides. Players will keep their bonus points applied through both of these actions.

This means that:
- A player that is delisted who has bonus points applied will result in those points being lost
- A traded player's points cannot be removed prior to the trade, nor used by the recipient team - in effect preventing skill point reductions on traded players

Secondly, after this, there will be the drafting window. Delisted players may seek to sign with a new team, new players may be chosen. Drafting will be done by open selection - a team may list all the players it wishes to draft.

- Any player that is only selected by one team will be drafted to that team - players selected like this will earn a bonus point.
- Players that are contested will earn two bonus points, but will need to be purchased. Teams will make a single private bid in vCash for the player, with the team making the highest bid winning the player. Half of this will be paid to the member concerned and the other half put into the PCNL prize pool.
- A player signed outside this process will not earn any points.

Again, like the points for traded players, those awarded to new draftees will be limited to only that player.

Thirdly, once teams are finalised, skill points that are not awarded directly to a player (so not MOTM or\ draft based points and none that came with traded players) will be released for reallocation.

- Modifications to the base averages used will be made. These are going to mostly impact pure batsmen, owing to their dominance in matches simmed so far, as well as to better balance all rounders.
- Star players that are currently below 10 skill points will need to be topped up first before other point allocations are made.
- Teams may also designate a single specialist in each form of the game - who will lose their base 5 points in the other form of the game, but get 5 bonus points for their speciality. Star players may not be specialists. These player's skill points will then be locked until the completion of this season.

What do you mean 'will'?
It's just an option,not mandatory,right?

----------

I mean...we can reallocate them just as they were before (given that we won't trade),right?

Can we ban the talking of fixing games?

It's funny when one, maybe two teams do it, but not when every team in the entire competition's goal is supposedly to lose games for money geez.
