No international selection!?

I've been working my way through career, 90 overall rating, selected for every league available but not international matches. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm playing on Xbox FYI
Not even been asked which country I'd like to represent when building career

When did you start your career? If it was before 5th Jan then you need to see the stickied thread "Representative Career Issue" at the top of the screen.

Cheers guys, I did start another career after the 5th of Jan but same issue.

I'm not tech savvy so is there any advice on what and how I need to update "patch" etc to ensure I fix this?

For some reason you don't get to select your nationality. Your Nationality by default is the country where you choose to play at the start.
Do you see a National team in selection screen? If not do as below. If so you need to play better.

You need to delete any modded teams you have. Then either leave them stock standard, or get best. Until these issues are fixed at least.
And unfortunately once you have done that you have to start your career again.
And as soon as you create your guy and go to career home screen check your selection status. Your National team should be there now. Maybe save your current career for when this games many many issues are resolved.
