Right, so having no ITS and a youth academy.. I still take a pull every week just to see if ever anything might come out of it.. if there no good then they get thrown into the bin :p.. so I was bored and thought i'd take my chances now.

Neale is a RH Batsman and RH Spin Bowler. He is a cautious player with woeful leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Off Drive
Nationality: Australia
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 4,603
Wages: ?1,156 p/w
Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: competent
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: respectable Consistency: worthless
Fielding: worthless

Now he's no top gun but he's a pretty good pull, to me I think he could be quite good... i know it would take a lot for his stamina to pop but he has a pretty good primary that can be pretty handy for me. But with me being a noob, is he worth training or not?

Well, consistency won't catch up the Primary if you stop training him at 19, you'll need to train him for the long term. And he won't be Nat/U-19 as other trainees will be past him in secondaries.

Stamina can be fixed, will be Superb in like 3 seasons with 1 net.

But as a trainee he's up there with any other one based on his Primary. So he's worth training and will be better than any Med/Med or some Comp trainees. I dunnow how much a mid-high Resp 17 YO with secondaries/stamina will cost, but if you can't afford one, he's good enough to train. If you are training him till the age of 20 or so, then it's probably better getting a Comp/Med. But if you're going to train him for the long run, like till he's 23-24, he's pretty good.

Train, train and train dammit! Samuel came from similarly humble beginnings and he's the spearhead of my bowling attack at the moment.

Depending on who else you are training you could have a mainstay in your midst.

On him you need a stamina, a fielding, and at least one bowling net. I'd recommend 2. Maybe when hes getting older, if his secondaries haven't caught up, add a wicketkeeping net.

I'm obviously still new to Battrick and everything, but IMO if you were looking for a keeper, I would have gone

Stamina: respectable (4) Wicket Keeping: woeful (8)
Batting: mediocre (12) Concentration: feeble (6)

I don't really understand high teams putting lots of ITS on stamina, as they won't be a part of their first XI for a long time, giving them time to train. Or were you pulling to sell?

I was pulling to sell so you want stam at least med and the secondaries should be good or the player won't go for much unless you are funky and some how got 1 mill for a resp with no secondaries! And most teams put lots on stamina because there is nothing else to put it on if you are pulling a batter or bowler. The standard pull for a batter/bowler is 12,12,11 or 11,12,12 very few people actually put it on fielding.
