Well, its that time of the year again!

When school leavers join college, and the college students go into the 2nd year or Uni.

So, School leavers:

Are you looking forward to going to college? What you going to do in college?

College students:

Have you enroled for the second year? Off to Uni? What you going to study?

As a college student, I was delighted to get enroled into the second year, and I have been told that I am welcome to stay on my BTEC National Diploma in Public Services.

I have also been told I have passed my first year with 3 distinctions! (the best grade possible!!)

So Atm, it is equivilant to 3 a-levels at A* level! :cheers

I have my last GCSE exam tomorrow morning, pleased to be leaving the subjects I wasn't interested in behind. I won't miss the uniform either!
I'm going to a sixth form, depending on my GCSE results. I need 5 grades of A* to C, which I am confident of doing. I will be studying Media Studies, Applied ICT, Physcology and Sociology. I am interested in all of them and they will help me with my aim of becoming a sports writer.

I'm going on to Catering & Hospitality at a Further Education college (fancy name for a more specialist College). But I'm a mature student which means I have to pay. Yay!

That aint good...

It doesn't both me too much. I'd rather pay and do something I enjoy, than sit around for years trying to find a job I want. I've seen that happen with my brother, I don't want to spend 7 years before finding something I want. Yes, it's money. But I'm not overly fussed by it.

I'm going to the Kett. I know the website is terrible, but the place itself is good. It is actually based on three schools, my current one, Sprowston High School and Heartsease High School. So my lessons will be split between them. I already know my current Media teacher is taking me next year!

Yeah, I see what you mean, I am on a 2 year course, then I have finished, so I am going to find a job for 2 years, while I go to the gym at night to improve my fitness & Stamina levels for the fire service, It aint easy wanting to join the fire service.

I'm done with my IGCSE subjects. Still have to do AS and A levels. I need 4 A/B grades for the colleges I want to do at A levels...

I've just come back from an open day at the Liverpool Uni. It's surprising how few Unis in the UK offer Sports Journalism courses. I've got my eye on UCLAN in Preston and Staffordshire Uni as well. I'm also considering Leeds Trinity, Northampton and Brighton as well. Brighton seems quite nice actually. I'm living in wherever I go so locality isn't really an issue for me.

I'm,m doing media even though I didn't do the GCSE lol, I heard it's easy and the school has some screwed up option system so it left me with not much of a choice. Doing Maths and English because they're ok and business too. Just going to sixth form, can't be bothered having to move to a new place again. Will be more bothered about having a job to be honest, even if I probably do go to uni although I still don't know what I want to do. Maybe I should get a degree in acting and go on the apprentice.

Haha :)

I'm taking Physics, Chem, Maths and one of IT/Eco/Psychology for AS/A levels. I find psychology interesting (Though kids who have taken it say it is rubbish), IT is simple and can be useful later on, and I'm good at Eco, so it is a choice between these three.

I never get enough of how good Brighton is as a Uni, Matt. It's well respected around here. Brighton is a good city as well.

I'm off to Salford Uni :D Matt, you have another year left don't you?

Erm...Looking forward to it? Maybe, not sure yet, a lot of beer to be drunk and parties to attend before then.

Wow, This makes me look dumb. Im on a bloody BTEC National Diploma in Public Services, but its a vocational course, so not in college all the time :cheers

You're still young... phyisics and chemistry together is simply hell.... I thought IT was easy too, well it was for the first term, now it's not as fun as it was before and I don't really enjoy it.
