He's just risen to a new level off late, and Bond always has his injury troubles...

At the peak of fitness and form, im saying that Bond is the better bowler

Lee might not be the most devastating of fast bowlers, but he has proven a to be a rare breed; the reliable and injury resistant express pace bowler. When your spearhead is succumbing to a dodgy hammy or back strain in the middle of the second test, you know right then that no matter how well that guy did in the first Test, he's not going to win the series. The guy that seems to be able to keep running on an empty tank, he's the one who conquers.

If he was healthy and playing cricket at the moment I have no doubt that Bond would be the best seam bowler in the world. One knock against him is that he hasn't played enough and he only played 2 tests in the sub continent but he would be my 1st choice.

Bond, though he doesn't really play anymore so maybe that's a little unfair. When they are/were both at their best, Bond is easily the better.
