No Doubt Lee and with same arguments that some of people have made.
As Bond was Fast and Furious on his peak but same time when you compare two Pace bowlers, you won't count only their peak time. You can't chose Bond because He had short career or He got injured so many time.Actually there were his minus points.
Despite of unbelievable Pace,Lee has been always fit when it matters most(Ashes,World cup).
Lee always has been consistent unlike Bond who has 4 or 5 good matches and then He got inury for himself.
Love to see Bond any day but still Lee has fulfilled the absence of McGrath somehow for Aussis.
Plus Lee is an absolute individual who appreciate everything that deserve appreciation.
It ask lot to break your spinal vertebrae or your inter vertebral disk.Bond has tried a lot beyond his capacity.its bowler's job to get him self fit for your country.

Tests: Lee
ODIs: Bond

I'd like to see anyone argue otherwise.

lol, Shane Bond takes the prized wicket of Nathan Bracken ;)

Hattrick, remember. Was a beautiful delivery too. The other two were batsmen basically just hitting out. The accuracy of that third ball under pressure was amazing. Bracken was well and truly done by it.

He got hit around in 1 over by Cameron White. Big deal. Name a bowler who never got dealt to on the odd occasion in an ODI.

An average of 22 compared to an average of 29.

This is about who is currently the better bowler and Lee is currently much the better Test bowler whereas Bond barely proved himself on the Test stage due to playing hardly any Tests.

Bond V Shoaib Would sound reasonable, don't you think? IMO Lee past them both in a few past years.

I would say Lee, simple because Bond when he played was never fit enough to play, say for a 12 month period without being injured or something, not to mentioned Bond did not pickup after any great bowler that preceded him, as did Lee to Mc Grath, those were plenty boots to filled and he did it rather well and thus helped the Aussies maintained their current hold on international cricket, as it was then and is today.

Brett Lee, when Shane Bond can bowl 10 over spells and can even come close to Lee's fitness thats when Ill consider Bond.

I am a fan of Bond but really not in the same class atm

Bond has sustained so many injuries and always has returned to the same class that he originally was at prior to getting injured. The arguement of having to see him play consistantly for 12 months is flawed because of it.

o what a toughie (couch, coucgh). Brett Lee is a far better bowler. he has taken more wickets and did noit sell oout his team by going to play the icl for 3 million dollars!

Brett lee!

Great bowler who bats pretty good as well!
