Bonds never played enough cricket. His action that makes him succesful could also well be responsible for his injurys so it's a bad action. If Bond was fit then he could have been a legend. If my auntie had bollocks she'd be my uncle. It's Lee, no debate.

Shane Bond rocks Perfect bowling action:hpraise

You're not serious are you?

Bond can never stay it and that's why Lee is miles better. It's no good if you have the talent to average 5 wickets a Test if you can't manage 5 Tests a year.

Bond,Shane Bond.

Pity the BCCI has barred him from playing international cricket.

Reckon Bond might act in James Bond now ;) In fact,he'll do a good job.

Brett Lee because he doesn't get injured. But if Shane is fit then shane is undoubtedly the best. Who knows what Bond could've become if he was as fit as Lee. His action played a part but if you have noticed Brett Lee exerts a lot of pressure on his ankles and unlike Flintoff hasn't had much (if any) ankle surgery.

Going by what I've seen I would take Bond when both are at their peaks. The Champions trophy where Bond was swinging it both ways at pace combined with his deadly yorker made him near unplayable. But he hasn't played enough Test matches to give an accurate judge on who is truely better.

The initial bowling action with which Bond exhibited an explosive start to his career with brutal pace and late swing was definitely prone to injury, it continually put a lot of stress on his back, leading to spinal stress fractures which had to be repaired with screws and bone grafts. Remedial work was vital and Richard Hadlee has spoken at length about the rehab with Bond. He has also sustained long term injuries to his knee and ankle, but in later times, it would seem that he has found the right action, even though that early venom is gone. This is not to say he had in any way become an average bowler.

Brett Lee, Stays fit, Stays quick and sometimes Sachin own him. :D

Bond.

Because if Lee had've played for New Zealand then he wouldn't have had anywhere near as much success as Bond has and Lee's career has only benefitted from being around the likes of McGrath, Gillespie & Warne.
