You sure the whip round will be enough to get the 50p for a Megabus to France?

Everything is the same in this country Tom...

Yep. We all have BMW's, 7 bedroom houses and a couple of acres of land. What? Don't you get that in Manchester?

Good comeback, quality...

But back on topic. Its just horrible here, weather, chavs, scallies, litter, the lot.

Plus it would help if I lived in Manchester....

Manchester is fantastic, people. Give me a Mancunian over a cockney any day.;)

well there is nothing to do in England expect going to collage and working

My Dream is start a business in Dubai and live there for ever.

Sorry, that's just rubbish. There are plenty of things to do in England. With your attitude you'll have the same problems in Dubai, the problem is you, not where you are. There is nothing stopping you but yourself.

Why didn't you move to Australia then lol?

You could go to the museums and stuff if you're interested in that kind of stuff. If you are, The National History Museum is a must.

Not really, Manchester is the second city in this country after London.

Its got thousands of things to do, but you've gotta go find them. The Museum of Science and Industry sound way boring, but get in it and its a hell of a lot of fun, with actual old sewers, a 1800's railway station as well as interactive stuff.

I cannot believe it when people say they hate the UK, or England, because "there's nothing to do," because its obvious the attractions wont slap people in the face. You've gotta get up, search online, or read papers etc. to find these places.

The north alone has some of the best attractions in Europe, on the working front anyways, with lots of mines/mills/factories and railway stations that are open to the public to show how it was in past years (obviously people will think this is boring, but they simply aren't if you immerse yourself in the experience).

The south i'm not overly confident with but I know theres a lot of old car museums and lots of farms which are open. In Wales theres even a vineyard you can visit!

This is me typing, hung over, on a Saturday morning from my knowledge of Tourism (which i study :p) so if people continually say, England has nothing to offer, i'll ram it back down thier throats and show just how much it has to offer. USA is better for attractions, but they never travel out of the country so there needs to be! Ben & Jerrys ice cream factory day out is the best!

Manchester is now widely accepted as the second city ;) Birmingham and Liverpool lost out.

I could find you statistics and things but I really cannot be bothered :p

Something like Birmingham has 29%, and came third whilst Liverpool had something like 10% and came fourth :)

For people not familiar with London, all museums are free, you can donate if you wish. I'd recommend Tate Modern too, just so you can look at modern art and say "wtf is that all about" over and over!

Also the science museum isn't near The Oval, The Oval is in Kennington :p

I was an S out!

% of what, Simon?
