Funny seeing as how you had the 3rd leading wicket taker in the history of the game on your side. You also had Harbhajan who is one of the leading wicket-takers of the past decade.
The thing is, I don't think Sehwag is capable of scoring a gritty hundred in tough conditions, something Hayden has done plenty'a times.
That's true. I agree. But, at the same time, would Hayden go out an blaze 80 off fifty balls in the 4th innings of a Test match while chasing 300+ ? Not that he doesn't have the ability, but Viru is able to just forget all pressure and blaze away. When it comes off, it is awesome, and India are pretty much set to win. Doesn't come off, he is left looking like an idiot. Hayden doesn't do that, and while that is what makes him great, it is this same reckless, laugh in the face of danger attitude that makes Viru great.
Now, while I understand that you might not appreciate this in a player, a lot of us do. Especially Indian fans, cause he's done it time and time again, not only to win, but to save matches as well. And that's while he'll always be a legend for India. Same way Hayden will be for Aus (Sorry, but I don't think he goes down as an all time Test Batting great.).
Either way, they are equal in my eyes...
BTW, 2 bowlers don't make up a bowing attack, and Bhajji sucks
