Who Should Replace Dravid in the Test Team after he hangs his boots?

Number 3 batsman for future?

He's made 66 and 136 in 2 of his last 3 innings, why on earth you're considering dropping him is beyond me. Especially for Rohit Sharma who's got nothing on Dravid. Badrinath should be his replacement when Dravid retires, but it seems that the Indian selectors don't believe he exists, and it seems he'll end his career as yet another Indian domestic player with a fantastic record, who's failed to make it at international level. Harsh on the guy, he does have a superb record!

Some Indians just want to pull others legs. You'll never understand why as they don't have a reason. I'm talking about the creator of this thread.

A good batsman should replace Sachin, not necessarily a Mumbaikar.

How on the earth you can miss Badrinath? He is the most accurate choice. Next will be Rohit Sharma. He has talent but is not able to proff it.

Rahane will replace Sachin. Afterall, only a mumbaikar can replace a mumbaikar :p

It's the worst post, i have ever seen.

I was just joking. So, I assume you have not read that dhoni fans post or max dillons posts.

WHY THE HELL ISNT BADRI IN THE POLL.

You make the worst polls ever, man.

Sehwag
Gambhir
Badrinath
Rahane
Pujara
Tiwary
Dhoni

Damn, what a lineup.

Thats an orgasmic lineup. Badri who averages 57 in FC Cricket, Rahane averages 63, Pujara averages 53 and Tiwary averages 51.

That is one hell of a lineup. All of them on song and they could post 800 with ease in a Test :p

I was kidding about Rohit Sharma btw. :p

As for Dravid it should be Badri for sure. Actually Badri should've been after Ganguly left but stupid Yuvi the king of sixes got the nod.

For Tendulkar and Laxman it should be Rahane and Pujara respectively. Rahane is most likely gonna get the nod for Tendulkar's spot though, simply because he's from Mumbai. It doesn't matter how much better Pujara is than him, that is what our selectors would do.

I have seen both Rahane and Pujara bat. Pujara looks a lot better that him and allways seems to have lot of time to play shots(a sign of great players). I hope he gets his chance soon.
Though Raina is flambouyant but he has nice defence and technique too. I rate him higher than yuvi in my book.

Pujara isn't in the Dravid mold at all. He's more of a Laxman esque batsman. I think Badri is better suited for number 3 as he is a tad bit slower than the rest, so there isn't the pressure to be the aggressor when needed - though he can play that role effectively too. I just think Pujara/Tiwary would be better suited for that type of role.

In terms of order of selection, Badri is on top of the list followed by Rahane (Mumbai influence + Epic record? FTW!), and i'm going to through out Kohli at 3rd. Though Pujara is godlike, I think the selectors will pull a big Badri on him.
