It's a cricket game. It's not going to be that good.

- I hope for some reason that the footage was from an earlier build in the game and the batting & bowling anims have been tweaked (unlikely.)

- Would some of you people still buy this game if the gameplay was really good but the animations are the same in the vid?

Either way I'll probably be a sucker and buy this game.

Of course the Anims have never been an issue for me.

I seriously dont mind if its ████, but im prepared to wait for it and not judge off a shitty little video. From what ive seen, there are enough changes to make me willing to pay for it.

I dont care if you think its going to be ████, I dont care that the batting and bowling is not going to 100% real, im just looking forward to the new game and changes that have been announced.

If you made a cricket game, I could find tons of problems with it, so stop give all these fellas hassle and wait for a bit and give it a go.

Yeah tbh I agree with nz0003 on this. All people do on here is moan about how crap cricket games are when we all know that we'll buy them anyway because they're cricket games. Developers of cricket games don't have that much money to work with on cricket games because they can't get big investments due to it being a hard type of game to sell to producers. And on top of that cricket is an unbelievably complex sport to perfect.

first the video isnt that clear and it looked like a improved ( graphically ) 07

and the stadium looks good though...

the bowloing action is not that fluid.. i mean it looks more of a robotic..

needs more improvemnet..

Am I the only one who thinks the video looks good lol? It's an improvement from 07 and 05. The bits inbetween the deliveries look very good. The actual bowling and batting animations look the same but I'm not complaining. I'll be buying this game still no matter what because I want a cricket game. I'm sure everyone else will as well. The other animations look very good imo. The game looks improved. You can't expect the game to magically become brilliant, it takes a while to make a good game, this one looks decent and is a move in the right direction.

Its hard to judge the gameplay from a video. I don't mind the animations, they aren't bad. But I wonder how the batsman managed to connect with the hook shot to an overpitched ball.

Can't wait. Why you people want to continuously whinge is beyond me. Don't buy the game, don't visit this site and definitely don't bother adding comments that are not in the least bit interesting.

You are looking at a really badly zoomed and out of focus video and yet you all have super human vision. Come on...?!?!?!

Spot on. We can't make any kind of realistic judgement until we've seen a genuine trailer and perferably, a demo.

Okay, alot of people are saying that you can't see much of the gameplay from this vid. I agree. If there was a spin bowler on, against an opening batsman, how different do you think it would look? And if you were playing a test match, would the batsman be playing those kind of shots? Also, I have seen alot of people complain about the shots the batsman have been playing, say pul shots of full balls etc etc.., but look closely, it's a 20-20. England are in there red kit and the Aussies are playing vey abnormal shorts. This just backs up the developers point that the different type of game they are playing, for example 20-20, they will react differently. The batsman would go on the slog, there might not be as many slips, whereas if they were playing tests, they are likely to be 3 slips and the batsman would play sensible shots. So, in reality, some of you people have contradicted yourself by saying its rubbish because the batsman are playing really bad shots. A. I can't see the ball in that vid, and B. There supposed to! That is all.. :banana1
