The players are entitled to 40 minutes to eat, rest and discuss, the time it takes to meet the Queen is not part of that.Ponting deserved to be out, that's all that matters to me.

Before play they are ferociously preparing for the day, I've been to grounds an hour before the start and they are all practicing like mad. That would have been about 10am if they wanted to do it without disrupting practice and hardly anyone would be in the crowd to see it. What's 10 minutes when you are meeting the most important person on the planet?My point is, does it have to be done after a session? Flintoff and Anderson I'm guessing are ready for a drink and something to eat, why can't it be done before play?
