If I was an English selector, then yes. A massive yes. He should have played instead of Broad this test.

I said that earlier and people thought it was a "knee jerk" reaction and too rash - but the fact is Broad is completely nonthreatening and out of form. Get rid of him.

Not sure if Onions can get a wicket unless he gets a bit of swing in the last session. Needs to get some late movement away, maybe around the wicket is the way to go?

I think he will. What did he get in the first innings of this county game - 1-8 off 7? Amazing. Now he's got 6-20. Not to mention how he bowled pretty well against us all-ready. You can't argue with those stats, and then when you look at what Broad has done it makes you wonder. Harmison for Broad next test.

Actually that's what I think should happen. The English selectors seem to want to try stick with the same bowling line up because I saw no reason to keep Broad in this test so they might keep him for the next one as well.

Broad has bowled pretty much like he did last test - not showing any promise and not threatening.

Onions hasn't bowled all that much - he's putting effort in but he's pretty much straight up and down.

Yes an hour or so all up has been lost to rain. Maybe less.

Haven't seen the wholes day so I'm not totally sure but Broad has been pretty bad, not threatening at all and Onions has looked to try push it through to quick and hasn't got a lot of movement. Just like he did just then to Katich and Hussey.

Yeah a bit of time lost to rain. Umm theres been 2 breaks, maybe 45 minutes lost?

Sorry to hear about your dog too.

He did get that big ton then 60 odd not out in the warm up match, so not really out of form but he has had problems converting form from warm up and non test match games to the Test Arena.
