Okay, now I know that I'll take a lot of ████ for saying that Twilight was okayish, but lets face it, the book itself was weak compared to the others. New Moon would have a lot more action, a much better ending, what with all the Volturi and all.

Anybody excited for this? Its 20'th November. Have a look at the latest trailer -

The book was awesome! Pretty much stoked for the movie.

Twilight is for girls lol. Why would you read it, or watch it?

I'd think that is a mis conception. Although yes the story is narrated by the girl, after Twilight, there's much more than the "love" element though. Its rather exciting with wolves and vampires, and the story. Trust me, the other books are far better than Twilight, and are far more gripping. They're almost as set in the fantasy world as the Harry Potter books.

Oh my god.

Guys, my girlfriend is obsessed with the film, books, everything twilight/new moon. The fact that grown men, and Kshits have declared a fondness for it shocks and appals me.

Shame on you, shame.

I don't really buy into the whole some books are for women, same with movies. If it interests me, it interests me. Simple as that really.

Know a fair few guys who have read the Twilight series. Not me though, I'm into different types of books, but no idea why Twilight is considered girly.

I actually stumbled across the movie first, the first scene I saw was the baseball one, and that got me interested, so I watched the entire movie. I then moved on to the books, read the 2'nd first, then 4'th, and then the 3'rd. Haven't read Twilight yet because I thought I had it covered with the movie.

I still don't see why you guys think it is "girly". There's no reason to call something girly if girls get attracted towards something more than us really. I'm not buying that. :p

More interested in teh vampire / werewolf action myself, or to say read / see more about them rather than Miss Swan and Mr. Cullen hanging out together. But you can't have everything so...

I never said it was girly. But i will never let my girlfriend see this thread, i will never hear the end of it.

My sister read it and said it was too girly...

I hear the books were very well written, but it had a crappy plot and the action scenes were rubbish. Kinda kills the book/movie for me.

I beg to differ. When you're seeing a vampire fight from a human's eyes there's not a lot you can see. You have to let your imagination run wild! :p

I'm sure this movie has far more action than the first, especially the scenes with Laurent and the wolf's, and the Volturi of course. I guess people are mostly judging the entire series based on the first movie, maybe even from reviews. Well I can't say much really, the first movie wasn't all that special barring a few scenes.

On that matter, Harry Potter was, as many said, childish, and it was based on a small child's life, but quite a lot of grown ups did read it and actually liked it [Unless Colin fakes his age!], I don't quite see the generalization logic.

Hope the sequel turn out better than prequel. It was average movie. Girls just fell for the hero.
