I've had a couple of virus' on my computer recently, but thanks to a special tool called spybot search and destroy i've been able to remove it.

however, i've been constantly running checks on my pc with my security package, AVG Free.

and yesterday i finally managed to get my pc clear of everything nasty, but after visiting PlanetCricket a couple of times, i did another scan on my PC, and it flashed 2 new threats. they've been deleted, but the threat may still be there.

is there anyone else who has recently had a virus that may be related to PlanetCricket?

is there anyone who could scan this website for potential virus'.

NB. it was not a download for a cricket game, as i haven't downloaded any since a few months ago, and these problems have only arisen since last weekend.

Yes it's Windows Heur Virus that is being entered through some virus.

AVG Free spreads it more remember.

Use Avast Free Version

Also .nfe file viruses are found. Not sure from PC .. But it'automatically downloaded to my laptop.

I can say PC as i usually from last 3 weeks come online and be on PC only.

There is a known issue when surfing with Chrome. But since you've faced something like this, I think I need to enable my Net-protect feature again.

If I were you, I wouldn't download any patches from the Mods section, atleast ftm

My computer status is clean when last checked and AVG has history of hoax virus alarms. You should probably try updating AVG software.

Occasionally an advertisement is picked up as a virus thread, usually incorrectly.

Can you confirm that AVG said it was a virus or just a threat? It's possible that it just looked at a cookie stored by an advertisement and didn't like it. If you could offer more information on the threat, that would help, too.
