Cricket cleared for the Olympics

Is it good to have Cricket in Olympics

  • Total voters
    21
  • Poll closed .
Woo, it's up to the ICC now!

Yes, it means more T20 but at least now we're not really giving it away to the rest of the world :D

Has to be a good thing I suppose but there is also the danger that cricket becomes a sport that fits into the category of synchronized swimming, wild water canoing etcetera and instead of increasing awareness of the game it marginalizes itself into a niche sport of bash and smash.

No way. I like cricket, don't get me wrong, but putting it into the Olympics is stupid.

Olympians are a test of athletes, not teams.

I hope there aren't a bunch of retired cricketers representing their nations. We have to give cricket the best possible image.

I don`t think that can happen. Are`nt the Olympics only meant for amateur sportsmen or something? I think if it is to be played in the Olympics, it`ll be similar to what we have with football, with U-23 footballers representing their nations.

This, although that wouldn't be a bad thing IMO.
