Klaasen- I wouldn't categorize him with the others- 2 legends, who had their fair share of cricket and been a part of the SA dressing room across formats. ABD and Steyn had their time in the sun and moved on. We would have liked them to play one more ICC tournament, but that wasn't to be. Charles LeClerc look-alike, never rated him high. I don't think he contributed as much to SA's fortunes as some of the others.

Depends on the format. Tests, agreed; ODIs, he's quite literally fourth all time for wicketkeepers by batting average (behind ABD, Dhoni, and weirdly enough Shai Hope)

Somehow doesn't shock me at all. While he is an exciting player, as exciting as Klaasen, the bloke has no future in the West Indies setup. I say this, owing to the lack of international cricket that the WI team is engaged in, currently. As a free agent, he can ply his trade in the variou T20 leagues around the world.

On a side note, I am surprised that the Americans aren't tapping these guys- they have the like of Corey Anderson, and a few other ex India/SRL/ Pak U-19 players in their ranks. They can only bolster their setups with the induction of these guys.

NZ captain to step away from ODIs. Stellar career for her! Though she will still be active in league cricket, she will not probably be seen playing for the White Ferns. I know she hasnt mentioned T20i; given the fact that she is not a part of the central contracts, probably indicates her veering more towards being a free agent.
