I would be very upset if history repeats itself. Anything less than 420+ target and England will ace the chase.

I can sense a classic Indian collapse in the 1st session.

Highest aggregates for India in a Test
346* - Shubman Gill vs ENG, Edgbaston, 2025
344 - Sunil Gavaskar vs WI, Port of Spain, 1971
340 - VVS Laxman vs AUS, Kolkata, 2001
330 - Sourav Ganguly vs PAK, Bengaluru, 2007
319 - Virender Sehwag vs SA, Chennai, 2008
309 - Virender Sehwag vs PAK, Multan, 2004

The era post 2010 didn't see such scores.

With bazball we are back to flat pitch eras 2000s.

Watching Pant and Gill bat together felt so good ! This is actually very boring since there is not much for the bowlers in this pitch and the batsmen are playing like they don't want to score.

India losing crucial overs. Absolutely staggering turnaround for Gill in this series but at this moment, I'm glad he is out because we need our bowlers in the middle ASAP! I hope Gill is aware that we don't have the luxury of Bumrah, Shami and Ashwin in our ranks. In fact, 3 out of 5 bowlers were wicketless in the first innings.

Did I just see Akashdeep padded up?! 600 runs has been reached. The average fourth innings score is 180ish. End the darn thing!! There is a possibility of rain tomorrow.

Ollie Pope's rapid transition from inventive T20 strokemaker to heavy Championship run scorer attracted the attention of England's national selector Ed Smith when Pope was given a Test debut against India as a specialist batsman in the summer of 2018. (Source : ESPNcricinfo)

How many of you knew that it was our very own Ed Smith who gave Pope his Test debut ?
