Is anybody even following this series? This is really good one day series for sure. That was an excellent comeback from England followed up by great death bowling. I feel for Williamson, played a really good knock but just wasn't able to get his team over the line. I really hope that NZ win the next one to set up a decider. This has been a great series to watch so far!
I really dont understand what more Willey has to prove that he is a really good bowler.
Match 1 - Concedes only 26 runs at an economy of 4.33, does not bowl out. Takes 1 wicket.
Match 2 - Concedes only 16 runs from 5 overs. Does not bowl out.
Really poor finish by England. Tom Curran might have got them 10-15 runs than what was expected, that was really poor. They were looking at scoring 380-390 at 267/1 before that collapse.
I hope NZ win this one to set up a series decider. Williamson and Taylor need to get a big partnership.
Often I feel that because of Ross Taylor being NZ, he is often forgotten when it comes down to the all-time greats. His record alone is something to marvel at - I mean 19 ODI centuries is no joke.
Good to see Leach being called up. England haven't had a left arm spinner in their team since Monty Panesar and briefly Zafar Ansari. Leach seems like the best spin option for England and he has been consistently performing over the last few years. Would present an ideal option alongside Moeen.
For on thing, I know @Aislabie will be pleased with this selection.
