I don’t really see a world where Mulder becomes a regular at seven in ODIs when Jansen has worked well despite the initial worry over his ability to fill that role and with Swanepoel looking like he should be playing international cricket already.

I still wanna back him tbh, he's one of the better prospects for Pakistan's T20 middle order.. but what happened to Haris? He should be opening or coming at 3 for sure. And why hasn't Shan played T20Is since the T20 WC 2022 despite his good performance in it?

Haris was inexplicably dropped by Wahab Riaz, the new chief selector. He must have some beef with him from his Peshawar Zalmi days, no other explanation. He should definitely be opening.

This is the opening pair they crave so badly. Strike rates of 111 and 115, pathetic.

Its time to move on, open with Rizwan and Saim Ayub, Babar at 3, Haris at 4, or open with Ayub and Haris for an aggressive pair and play Rizwan at 4. Hard to fit Fakhar unless Haris plays a finisher kind of role and bats 5/6 along with Iftikhar.
